How to calculate your age

Your age is calculated against today's date, which fills in automatically — but you can change the second date to find your age on any past or future day, such as a specific exam or eligibility date. The result shows your exact age as years, months and days, then the same span expressed as total months, weeks, days, hours and minutes.
How the calculation works
The calculator counts whole years from your birthday, then whole months, then the remaining days — handling leap years and months of different lengths correctly, so a birthday on the 31st or on 29 February is measured accurately. The totals are simply that same time span converted into other units.
